The Department of Orthopaedics is headed by Dr. Sushil Vijay. He completed his graduation in 2008 and post graduation in 2013. He is also having special training (Fellowships) of Joint replacement and reconstruction from Germany and of Trauma through IOA-synthes trauma fellowship from Trauma center, AIIMS, New Delhi. 

He is a national level faculty of Orthopaedics and teaching MBBS students at PAN INDIA level preparing for different PGMEE's. Also he is author of 2 Orthopaedic books. He is joint secretary of IAOS (Indian academy of orthopaedic surgery), INDIA and was the organising secretary for first Ilizarov workshop at Indian spinal injury center by IAOS.

He is having special interest in conservative management of different injuries and also Hand surgeries, infected non unions, trauma and hip and knee joint replacements. Special knee and back ache clinics are being run on every wednesday (10 A.M to 1:00 P.M Special Arthritis clinics every thursday (10 A.M to 1:00 P.M)
